Temporary Road Closure Lenham – Headcorn Road & Robins Close – 4th January 2021

Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Headcorn Road & Robins Close, Lenham.
The roads will be closed in two phases, as detailed below.
Phase 1
Headcorn Road, Lenham will be closed from 4th January 2021, with estimated completion by 13th January 2021.
The road will be closed from outside number 90 to the vicinity of Amberley, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via High Street, A20 Ashford Road, Willington Street, A274 Sutton Road, Maidstone Road, North Street, Sutton Valence Hill, Headcorn Road, Maidstone Road, Mill Bank, Kings Road, Lenham Road, Liverton Hill, Headcorn Road and vice versa.
Phase 2
Robins Close, Lenham will be closed from 20th January 2021, with estimated completion by 29th January 2021.
The road will be closed from the junction with High Street to outside number 59, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Robins Avenue, Ham Lane, High Street and vice versa.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting, joint bay and jointing works are undertaken by Kier.
